Once the costume fees are paid, there will be NO refunds or credits issued for any reason! If a dancer does not perform in the show they will be responsible for picking up their ordered costume. There will be NO costume returns.

All dancers performing in the recital will be required to purchase a new costume for each class/dance they will be performing in the show. All attendees will need a ticket to the show, including children over the age of 3. Depending on the number of dancers in the show, we may limit the number of tickets available for each performer/family. More information about tickets will be released after we receive all of the dancer commitment forms

All dancers performing in the show will be required to ENROLL in Winter and Spring Sessions.  Dancers that attend class on a drop-in basis will not be permitted to perform in the show unless they enroll in the full session.

Once we receive a commitment form, dancers will be expected to participate in the recital. To ensure our students and instructors have a positive performance experience, we ask our students to commit to learning their choreography thoroughly before dancing for an audience. We feel that consistent attendance and practice, as well as support at home and in the classroom gives dancers the best chance to enjoy the art of dance.

If a dancer misses multiple classes before the show, the teacher may pull them from the dance or limit their participation in the piece/choreography. If you know in advance of any scheduling conflicts that you will be missing during the Winter & Spring Sessions, we ask that you let the teachers and/or front desk know in advance of your absences.

A reminder that the studio will be closed for a 2-Week Spring Break March 30-April 10.

We recommend that dancers perform in no more than 6 pieces in the show. If a dancer wants so perform in more pieces this will need to be approved by Kim/Robert.

If a dancer enrolls in a class or decides to participate in the recital AFTER the commitment & costume fee due date on February 16, we can not guarantee a spot in the show. Once the teacher approves that the dancer can participate in the the show,we will work with the dancers to place a late costume order. PLEASE NOTE: There will be an added shipping/handling fee for all late orders and all costumes may NOT be available for late purchasing.

All dancers performing in the show will be dropped offer at the dancer's gate approximate 1 hour before the show. NO parents, siblings, family members or friends will be permitted backstage.  Only OTE owners, staff, teachers and volunteers will have access to the backstage area.

Dancers ages 3-7 will be released during intermission. However, all parents will be required to fill out and return an Early Release form before the show date. All dancers will be reunited with their parent/guardian at the dancers gate.

All dancers performing in the show will be required to remain backstage for the whole performance and participate in the final curtain call. Under no circumstances will we allow any dancers to leave the backstage area before the end of the show. Should there be any scheduling conflicts with older dancers that need to leave early, this will need to be approved BEFORE the show and on a case by case basis. This is a safety policy to protect all of our dancers and staff.

Students enrolled in classes are NOT required to participate in the recital and are always welcome to continue attending classes. We ask dancers to inform us if they will NOT be performing in the show so our teachers can adjust their choreography accordingly.

We will send a recital package to ALL CONFIRMED dancers with additional information about the performance, dress rehearsal and ticket information. Please also feel free to contact any questions at or 310-730-6503. We value your feedback and assistance in making this a fun experience for all our students and families.
