What This Company Is About
OTE Rise Company builds on the foundation dancers bring from Future — deepening technique, strengthening stage presence, and asking dancers to take on more artistic responsibility season by season.
Rise dancers take part in OTE's full non-competitive, concert-based program, including technical and expressive classwork, company repertory, and growing opportunities for student choreography.
Being selected for OTE Rise is something to celebrate — it's a sign of real growth within the OTE family.
Dancer Requirements
* OTE Rise Company Rehearsal on Saturday 12:00-3:00PM
* OTE Rise/Edge Company Rehearsal Wednesday 4:00-5:00PM
* Wednesday 5:00-6:00PM Int Jazz & 6:00-7:00PM Int Contemporary
* 1 Ballet class (Tuesday 4:00PM , Thursday 4:00PM or Friday 4:00PM)
* Sunday 4:00-5:00PM Pointe for approved dancers
( Dancers enrolled in the Pointe class will need to be enrolled in and regular attend at least 2 ballet classes during the week).
* Additional classes are recommended but not required.
* Additional rehearsals will be added before each concert.
* Mandatory participation in company performances.
